RUSH: I had a story in the Stack yesterday about this Planned Parenthood butchery that I sloughed off to the side. I intended to get to it yesterday and I didn't. I had a lot of things I intended to get to yesterday and I didn't, a lot of audio sound bites on this Iranian thing. And I'm kind of glad I didn't because it's enabled me to study something. I've been paying attention to cable news all morning, and I've checked a couple of other news sites that would constitute the Drive-By Media. And I haven't seen anything on this. I mean, hardly a reference.
All morning on CNN it's been Trump. I mean, it's Trump, Trump, Trump. They're not even talking about the Iranian deal. They're doing everything they can at CNN to cover up the absolute disaster that is Obama's America. And while everybody realizes that we are living in the midst of a disaster, CNN focusing on Trump all morning, has the effect of associating him with the disaster.
I think that's one of the purposes, not specifically, just we're in a mess here, the Iranian deal's over here, this Planned Parenthood butchery, and we're talking Trump all day on CNN. It's a way to not cover some of the really horrible things that are happening in this country and replace them with the bashing of Donald Trump, which I think has a subliminal effect of blaming Trump for it.
Planned Parenthood Uses Partial-Birth Abortions to Sell Baby Parts
Fox is giving this some coverage, not a whole lot. But it's just the sickest, it is the most evil, it is the most depraved thing that I have heard in a long while. And I think precisely because it is sick and evil and depraved is why mainstream Drive-By Media outlets are not covering it. Now, the Associated Press is, but the Associated Press has joined Planned Parenthood in the sickness and in the evil and in the depravity in the way they are attempting to report this.
If you don't want to take my word for it, that is ok.
The other threads I heard, too. Snerdley was getting lots of calls from New Yawkers saying that's not what was in the NYT. He didn't talk to any of those callers that I heard. Title: Cultural tipping point? Don't bet on it.
And the other thread is about the caller who recalled to Rush about wanting Obama to fail, Smokey from Coronado, CA. Title: You're darn right I wish he had failed.
I don't remember the name of the Catholic caller or her city. He often takes very few calls, sometimes I don't pay complete attention but became more alert when the lady identified herself as Catholic, then what she was saying. She was very respectful of all priests in spite of her negative opinion about not talking at mass about pro life.
A Lutheran church with a strategic location at a busy intersection by a big hospital, doctors' group, traffic, had a hillside with I don't know how many hundreds of white crosses.
I could be wrong but I thought one year the display was vandalized. I don't go out too much any more so I don't know if they still put the crosses out or not. I thought it was a wonderful thing to do, no matter what denomination.
Does anyone have a link to the unedited version of the video?
Thus, the Susan G Komen/Karen Handel scandal with Karl Rove, Bush's right arm.
H/T Tammy Bruce who explained it all back in the day: how women's groups she used to work for would help pro-abort groups hide the fact they were funding abortions by shifting monies around... it's a shell game to trick pro-lifers.
By googling, I found the Catholic caller portion transcript:
Catholic Caller to Host: You're More Pro-Life Than Most Catholic Priests
BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: This is Mary in Ridgefield, Connecticut. I'm glad you called, and thank you for your patience. Hi.
CALLER: Hi, Rush. Thanks for taking my call. First of all, I want to thank you for speaking the truth with such great humor. I really do appreciate it. Hey, I've been trying to get through to you for a while and it's always about the same thing, the Catholic Church, the Catholic hierarchy and your response to certain issues. And today was another example where I think you're almost more Catholic than some of the Catholic priests I know, and I know I have to town that down a bit and say maybe braver than a lot of Catholic priests I know. Because you're right out there on the sanctity of life and you're consistent and you do not mince words.
I'm a Catholic. I don't question the Catholic Church and the hierarchy value of human life and the sanctity of human life, but we do not get it all the time from the pulpit. And I tell some of the priests I know, "Tune in to Rush, tune in to Rush, he's talking about abortion. He's right out there. He doesn't mince words and he's consistent, he's consistent, he's consistent." And I greatly appreciate that.
RUSH: Wow. Thank you. Thanks very much. Are you serious when you say that detect -- what's the word -- you think from the pulpit the priests are not as vocal on life as they have been? Is that what you're saying?
CALLER: Well, you know, yes. Not across the board, I love my priests, I love the Catholic Church, it's the only game in town. I'm a devout Catholic, but for example, Right to Life Sunday, every year in our calendar we have a Right to Life Sunday, and I'll talk to my sisters and my brothers and do the priests actually stand up and talk about abortion? No, no, no, no, and my 21-year-old son said to me, I said, "I'm getting to Rush," he said, "Good luck." And there's a lot of push-back from kids that age on this. But, anyway, he said, "Well, the priests and the bishops have to be more politic because they have to deal, you know, with the parishioners." And I said, "Well, no, no. It's not supposed to work that way. I mean, if anything --"
RUSH: Yeah, I know, but it does. Your son is right.
CALLER: It's politics, it's money, it's all of the above. And there is a great right to life movement in the country. I'm not saying there's not, but I have 19- and 21-year-old sons, and I say, if they do not hear it from the pulpit where are they gonna hear it besides Rush?
RUSH: Look, everybody needs money, and if the people that donate money don't want to hear about it, then you might not talk about it, if you're a church.

I think GWB did approvee that one line of aborted fetal stem cells which doesn't make sense at this late date. That was a long time back.
There in many vaccines including chicken pox vaccine. Kids can’t go to school (in most states) without the chicken pox vaccine. The corruption is both deep and wide.
I have the Rush app on my Samsung 6 Galaxy and I opened up the first article which was the one that I posted. It is now also in my Rush app right on the top
I didn't listen to Rush for years and still don't all the time because it seemed to drone on but I listen more often now, and I've gained respect for him on most of the issues.
I'm one of those troglodytes who doesn't have a cell phone.
Say, did Rush address the Karl Rove Karen Handel “Planned Bullyhood” scandal and how it fits in with Planned Parenthood funding to trick pro lifers?
Makes sense. After all, killing babies and selling their organs isnt nearly as outrageous as declining to serve pizza at a gay wedding. OR SO MOST AMERICANS TODAY THINK!
If he did, I didn’t hear it. Don’t think he did. I did see your post upthread about it, and it was the first time I’d heard of it. A quick google reveals there is more info out there about it, but I can’t get into any more too deeply today.
LOL And since RINOs = LIBS and GOPe = LIB FASCISTS
then RINOs/GOPe = SOULLESS GHOULS.
Unfortunately for Karen Handel (but fortuitously for the GOPe and Karl Rove) Karen Handel’s book, “Planned Bullyhood” was released on September 11, 2012.
Benghazi overshadowed any and all media attention should have gone to Handel’s book.
That’s why I was wondering if Rush fit the pieces together as to how Karl Rove+Planned Parenting = tricking pro life conservatives (again!)

Fact Sheet: Embryonic Stem Cell Research
"As a result of private research, more than 60 genetically diverse stem cell lines already exist" I have concluded that we should allow federal funds to be used for research on these existing stem cell lines " where the life and death decision has already been made", This allows us to explore the promise and potential of stem cell research" without crossing a fundamental moral line by providing taxpayer funding that would sanction or encourage further destruction of human embryos that have at least the potential for life."
-- George W. Bush
Federal funding of research using existing embryonic stem cell lines is consistent with the President's belief in the fundamental value and sanctity of human life. The President's decision reflects his fundamental commitment to preserving the value and sanctity of human life and his desire to promote vital medical research. The President's decision will permit federal funding of research using the more than 60 existing stem cell lines that have already been derived, but will not sanction or encourage the destruction of additional human embryos. The embryos from which the existing stem cell lines were created have already been destroyed and no longer have the possibility of further development as human beings. Federal funding of medical research on these existing stem cell lines will promote the sanctity of life " without undermining it " and will allow scientists to explore the potential of this research to benefit the lives of millions of people who suffer from life destroying diseases.
Federal funds will only be used for research on existing stem cell lines that were derived:
In order to ensure that federal funds are used to support only stem cell research that is scientifically sound, legal, and ethical, the NIH will examine the derivation of all existing stem cell lines and create a registry of those lines that satisfy this criteria. More than 60 existing stem cell lines from genetically diverse populations around the world are expected to be available for federally-funded research.
No federal funds will be used for:
Today's decision relates only to the use of federal funds for research on existing stem cell lines derived in accordance with the criteria set forth above.
The President will create a new President's Council on Bioethics, chaired by Dr. Leon Kass, an expert in biomedical ethics and a professor at the University of Chicago, to study the human and moral ramifications of developments in biomedical and behaviorial science and technology. The Council will study such issues as embryo and stem cell research, assisted reproduction, cloning, genetic screening, gene therapy, euthanasia, psychoactive drugs, and brain implants.
Embryonic stem cells. Embryonic stem cells, which come from the inner cell mass of a human embryo, have the potential to develop into all or nearly all of the tissues in the body. The scientific term for this characteristic is "pluripotentiality."
Adult stem cells. Adult stem cells are unspecialized, can renew themselves, and can become specialized to yield all of the cell types of the tissue from which they originate. Although scientists believe that some adult stem cells from one tissue can develop into cells of another tissue, no adult stem cell has been shown in culture to be pluripotent.
The potential of embryonic stem cell research. Many scientists believe that embryonic stem cell research may eventually lead to therapies that could be used to treat diseases that afflict approximately 128 million Americans. Treatments may include replacing destroyed dopamine-secreting neurons in a Parkinson's patient's brain; transplanting insulin-producing pancreatic beta cells in diabetic patients; and infusing cardiac muscle cells in a heart damaged by myocardial infarction. Embryonic stem cells may also be used to understand basic biology and to evaluate the safety and efficacy of new medicines.
The creation of embryonic stem cells. To create embryonic stem cells for research, a "stem cell line" must be created from the inner cell mass of a week-old embryo. If they are cultured properly, embryonic stem cells can grow and divide indefinitely. A stem cell line is a mass of cells descended from the original, sharing its genetic characteristics. Batches of cells can then be separated from the cell line and distributed to researchers.
The origin of embryonic stem cells. Embryonic stem cells are derived from excess embryos created in the course of infertility treatment. As a result of standard in vitro fertilization practices, many excess human embryos are created. Participants in IVF treatment must ultimately decide the disposition of these excess embryos, and many individuals have donated their excess embryos for research purposes.
Existing stem cell lines. There are currently more than 60 existing different human embryonic stem cell lines that have been developed from excess embryos created for in vitro fertilization with the consent of the donors and without financial inducement. These existing lines are used in approximately one dozen laboratories around the world (in the United States, Australia, India, Israel, and Sweden).
Therapies from adult and embryonic stem cell research. To date, adult stem cell research, which is federally-funded, has resulted in the development of a variety of therapeutic treatments for diseases. Although embryonic stem cell research has not yet produced similar results, many scientists believe embryonic stem cell research holds promise over time because of the capacity of embryonic stem cells to develop into any tissue in the human body.
I'm kind of burned out trying to keep up with this issue (did watch the video) and the Iran deal.
Thank you for posting that. It's a lot to read but I'll try to get it read in a day or two. I couldn't remember if maybe they had been aborted fetal stem cells that "had already been destroyed, so . . . ."
I'm on overload trying to take in the Iran deal and this matter.

Interesting how this article appeared while Bush minions Nicolle Wallace and Steve Schmidt were wiping blood off the knives they’d been sticking in Sarah Palin’s back the day this article was published (October 29, 2008).
