Jewish groups condemn 49ers running back for his tweets

A tweet by 49ers returner and running back Jarryd Hayne drew the attention of the Anti-Defamation League. Hayne, an Australian attempting to make a conversion from rugby to the NFL, tweeted that Jews killed Jesus. ADL, in a press release, noted that the tweet appeared July 1st and has since been rescinded.

“Jesus wanted to help people but was killed by his own people,” the ADL quoted Hayne writing. When challenged by a fan on twitter, Hayne then wrote, “The Jews were the people who took him to the Romans n forced them to give the order because they couldn’t.”

Not quite. The standard line would be they would vote for Hitler if Hitler were running as the DEMOCRAT.

From this Jewish conservative perspective, the Jewish left is truly a bunch of addicts in the 'Rat cause. They are addicts because they can't stop repeating a self-injurious activity. However the percentage of such Jews in the American voting population is thankfully decreasing, though slowly.

Of all the major American Jewish organizations, the ADL under the ancient Abe Foxman is generally about the most guilty. As far as I know, they haven't and probably won't come out against Obama's disastrous concessions to Iran, despite the fact that the Iranian regime would kill or convert to Islam every Jew on the planet if they had the opportunity.

The was Ed Koch's line also. To a large extent voting democrat is still as sacrosanct as Bar Mitzvahs and circumcisions. My parents were way ahead of their time when they switched parties, around the same time as Pres. Reagan, and for the same reason, they didn't leave the party, the party left them.

I read the full ADL statement just now off the ADL's own web site and would describe the tone of their criticism of the Iran deal as lukewarm. (BTW, they had some praise in there for the hard work of John Kerry and two other Obamatons.)

As an indicator of their priorities, they had that Iran deal statement alternating with two other top stories on their site: an article alleging an upswing in white supremacy activities in the US and an article claiming a decrease of anti-Semitism in France over the last year. So they hardly gave their critical views on the Iran deal the prominence you'd think it deserves.

How many posters on this web site want to continue to talk about this issue of who killed Jesus and then turn around and look at Muslims bringing up the Crusades as living in the past?

None of us were alive when either happened. As a Jew myself I don’t blame a 40-year old German for the Holocaust.

If this clown can’t figure out that he needs to be circumspect when he is in the public eye, which ALL athletes in the NFL are, he should get back on a plane and get his ass back to Australia.

He is speaking what the literal Biblical text says in the Book of John. It uses the word “Jews” to describe the mob. He is probably just parroting what he heard in church(unless he is now NOI).

These ‘Jewish’ Groups are nothing but glorified mailing lists with wealthy donors and names on a letterhead with a swanky return address. They represent nobody. They do nothing except justify their own existence by condemning everything that can be construed as an anti-Semitic remark, and trying to get the author fired. It’s all vanity and a chasing after the wind. Iran will have Nukes and provide sophisticated weaponry to Hizbollah and Hamas, all to kill Jews, while these parasites fiddle, ignoring that reality and looking around for tweets to condemn. They make anti-Semites feel justified and provide material for M’bala M’bala’s next standup appearance. Where are real Jewish leaders when the world needs them?
