I propose the formation of a new political party to end the partisanship in Maine. It could be called the Bash Brothers Party, with Donald Trump as its candidate for president, and Paul LePage for vice president.
If Trump and LePage campaign nationally for the next 18 months, then they will be out of the state for long stretches of time.
I don’t get all the Trump love here either. He is a stealth democrat who is trying to elect Hillary.
His strategy in 2008 was to tack to the extreme right and garner some Republican support and then run third party like he did back in 1999.
I can’t believe he has so many suckers.
Whoever the GOP nominates, I will vote for in the general.
Well, there ya go. So if they cheat and deceive in the primary again, like they did in Mississippi, you will still support them. Thanks
1) I am from Mississippi— Thad Cochran is past his prime, is right only 50 percent of the time...but is still better than 100 percent of democrats.
2) Cochran won dirty. True. But I know plenty of Mississippi conservative small business people who thought the other guy was a clown too. Either guy would have been better than the democrat.

It doesn’t matter, you don’t cheat to win!
This isn’t my first immigration rodeo.
Gov. Rick Perry said ALL of the things Trump is saying but - gosh “oops” was the biggest deal.
As old Saul Alinsky taught us, the issue is never the issue. The issue is always the revolution.
Right now Trump is riding a wave of justified discontent and anger but his history makes him unacceptable as a serious candidate.
Rick Perry said that DT was using disrespectful language.
RP can go pound sand. No more PC crap for me.
I get it.
Carry on with your righteous indignation.
It suits you.
I don’t know. Governor LePage grew up in abject poverty in an abusive, French-speaking home in Maine until he ran away as a youngster. Totally self-made man.
