I watched McConnell on Fox News Sunday. He said the Republicans would vote it down and then Obama would need only 34 Senators to override Republicans. He kept saying it was going to be a “tough sell” when pressed if Obama could get to 34. Later he let it slip that Obama had the 34.
So it’s already known that McConnell will let this thing pass but without public Pubbie fingerprints!
He has no intention of denying Obama anything by playing any sort of hardball. I detest the man!
If I’m not mistaken. Corker and the other Pubes fixed where the senate has to override a veto in order to kill the deal. It’s already passed the GOP senate. It passed before any deal was made. If I’m not mistaken.
