< Boycott them! Picket them!

I hate to hear that Whataburger has taken any type of anti-gun stance at all because they make a really good hamburger much better than say a McDonalds or a Burger King. I’m not sure why they would make this decision unless maybe they think that the presence of peiple openly carrying firearms might scare away enough of their business to make a substantial dent in their sales. I’m thinking this is purely a business decision and not a political one. As long as they don’t mind concealed carry I don’t have a problem with them.

I don’t see this as an Anti-Gun stance.

They are a Business that deals with a myriad of Customers, not just Gun Owners. People are acting like the new Open Carry Law is supported by 100% of the Texas Population, it is not.

Whataburger simply realized that many of their Customers might feel uncomfortable seeing an exposed Weapon when they come in to have a Meal with their Families.

Just because WE may not feel that way, many others do.

It is a delicate balancing act, and I think they figured they would lose more Customers by allowing Open Carry than not.

They allow Concealed, so what exactly is the Problem?
Stick the Pistol in your Waistband and go chow down.
