Donald Trump could win it all.

What we have witnessed in the last few days seems to me to have very little to do with policies or issues. Though Donald Trump is surely unique, it's really not about his personality either.

He's figured out how to tap into our emotions.

And by “our” I'm not just referring to conservatives, or Republicans, or this or that voting bloc. It's pretty much all of us.

Those emotions are anger, fear, and tedium. We're so, so weary and tired of being lied to, being divided, having our intelligence insulted and being utterly embarrassed on the world stage. Republicans feel that way too.

Businessmen have to assess markets, trends, and more importantly changing opinions. Donald Trump has simply come to the conclusion that the people are craving what he is uniquely suited to provide. He senses our anger, he senses our fear, he senses the time is now.

His main qualification? He's not a politician.

I'm for Ted Cruz, and Ted Cruz and others have said some of the same things Trump is saying, but they haven't succeeded in bringing to the surface our emotions the way Trump has.

Why not?

Perhaps we have become distrustful of all who are “qualified” for political office. Maybe we've reached a point of such hopelessness-blacks, whites, men, women, old, young-that we'd embrace anyone who seems to have no political consideration behind what he is saying. Trump is the anti-politician, or he seems that way to us. It's refreshing.

Trump is also the anti-Obama.

His leadership qualities, his willingness to reveal what he really thinks and who he really is....isn't this part of what we're all so angry about, when we think of all politicians nowadays? Even Obama’s backers sense he is a wimp. Donald Trump has an awful lot of testosterone, a not insignificant quality when we next decide who to be put into the White House.

From Hope and Change to Sick and Tired. And this will get him elected.

Trump's got us pegged. And he's going to continue to give us what we crave.

He'd become the first President to move into a smaller house.

He nor his family would be placing unlimited expanses for their trips or vacations on the American people
AND he knows who the best qualified people are for each position. (Imagine a session of the Apprentice for SCOTUS or cabinet posts. — not publicly but in his mind )
