Would it be ok to acknowledge the confederacy in, say, the Confederate Cemetery in Fredericksburg, VA?
Apparently not, because the National Park Service has removed that one and others from it’s website.
The NPS should immediately turn those cemeteries over to those who care about our national heritage, since they can’t seem to give a damn.
As for you, why do you think these cemeteries have been preserved for 150 years?
If American Soldiers that fought for the Confederacy cannot be acknowledged, then who will give a damn when the political winds turn against Arlington Cemetery? Think that’s far fetched? I don’t.
Maybe they’ll give Arlington Cemetery back to Lee’s descendants.
