It was a press conference in which Reagan proclaimed Missing Children's Day. And he let victim's families actually talk about their lives.
I am not being anything if the sort.
The analogy I provide is completely apt.
Trump scheduling a media press conference is exactly like Al Sharpton and Barack Obama exploiting the deaths of Tryvon Martin and Al Sharpton.
Both using the media for political opportunism.

As I have stated, I don’t blame the families.
I blame any politician running for office or race hustlers trying to score funds for taking advantage of the families.
And, as I previously remarked, holding a private meeting with the bereaved families would have been very commendable.
But to schedule a follow on media press conference is political exploitation.
The ends do not justify the means.
It I was a shamefipul act by Trump who is savvy enough with the media to know exactly what he was doing.
Careful, your envy is turning a deep green ... Trump just trumped Ted ... and it stick’s in your craw like gooey caramel. But keep reaching, perhaps you may find a real point to make - eventually.

The victims thanked Trump for allowing them to speak while the political machine did nothing but aid and abet it.
The reason Trump gave them a voice was because Trump was maliciously slandered by major networks coast to coast, suggesting his comments were racist and derogatory when they were the truth.

Trump has been attacked and punished by the media, NASCAR, Macy’s. ESPN, NBC, PGA. the political elites, etc. for speaking the truth. I have been working on the immigration issue for 8 years. The MSM has been covering up the extent of the human and financial costs of illegal immigration, which are huge. Trump is putting a human face on the problem. Notice that many of the comments made by the families were directed at the media.
