I wonder if he wins the nomination if a Conservative will run to give many of us someone for whom to vote.

It seems many of the issues that Romney lost on were...
"Can I identify with the candidate?"
"Is the candidate trustworthy?"
"Does the candidate care about people like me?"
Trump is the only candidate who ties or loses to Hillary on these questions. Every other candidate destroys her. Trump is a fool. He is a clown. He is a liberal. He is a narcissist. He is a flip flopper. He is a scum bag.
The fact that someone on this forum even has any modicum of respect for him truly brings into question what this forum stands for.

The extreme left (including a large swath of the current Democratic party) have had a plan and a working formula that have been highly successful - allowing them to control the national dialogue, the news cycle, and whole segments of American society. They did not, however, calculate the impact of a Trump, and this is the unknown variable that could prevent what they've carefully calculated to achieve. It's precisely the unpredictability of his candidacy that has them deeply concerned. They will try to destroy him, but he's not like the professional politicians they've been trained to deal with. People like him can live outside the general rules of the game that the left have long-controlled.
