California Bill Would Ban Naming State, Local Sites For Confederate Leaders
By RUBEN VIVES A state senator introduced a bill this week that would prohibit the naming of state and local properties after Confederate leaders.
The measure would affect two elementary schools -- one in Long Beach and another in San Diego -- which were named after Robert E. Lee, commander of the Army of Northern Virginia for the Confederate States of America.
Under the proposed law, the two schools would have to be renamed within the next two years.
State Sen. Steve Glazer (D-Orinda) introduced SB 539, known as the Frederick Douglass Liberty Act. The bill is being supported by Senate Minority Leader Bob Huff (R-San Dimas).
Maybe we should pass a similar law for Texas secessionists from the 19th century. I.e. No more Daniel Boone Elementary School in San Diego or Alamo Elementary School in Vacaville.

How about all slave owning democrats?
What if those wacky Californicators decide to name a park after Leland Yee, after he gets out of prison and runs for office?
So many Chinese, that’s going to sound suspiciously like ‘Lee’ park.
Someone could be microaggressed and shit.
Anybody who makes a racial issue of th e Confederate Flag is either a black racist or a political slave to black racists.
Democrat whores. Like kalifornistan has a lot of proposed monuments, etc, to be named after Confederate leaders. Now, Pablo Jorge Valesquez Hernandez blvd, maybe. Probably. Definitely.
Take all those Confederate names down from public places and rename them all after Hollywood queers, freak and perverts that reflect current Californicate and not that old musty dusty historic California.
And how about banning naming anything after a half white president who is slave to his ideology.
I’m betting this as shay senator does not even know what century the Civil War occurred.
A law is needed to ban naming sites after any Demonicrats.
How about KKK demonrats?
Well, we can’t have the Democrat Party since it was the party of slavery and the KKK.
Will they rename Davis California?
The way the academics are ranting, just rename anything named after a white. You’d get some interesting names. Shabazzistan.
I bet Sheila Jackson Lee is sweating bullets...

They need to ban cities from being named after catholic saints.
Oh wait, that’s every city in California.
Well, poop!
My first name is Robert.
What will the ‘state’ say?
Good one, sir.
