I wanted to review all of the comments before I weighed in regarding the DA.
The DA had the officers charged, tried and sentenced before the van carrying the “victim” came to a complete stop.
The DA should be gone.

Certain high level appointments are not covered by Civil Service rules. In the federal government this would include Cabinet appointments.

In the first picture to the left you can see a man tossing a barricade into a window. He is wearing a hoddie that says Black Lives Matter. Then after clicking the street bar fight below that one I found another shot of Mr. BLM fighting with a white guy. Hope they go over these photos and nail some of these SOBs. There were at least half a dozen shots of the woman in a yellow shirt boxing her sons ears and dragging him home. Even a cartoon about that. Also a shot of Trump looking blown away by it all.

All Baltimore has to do is go back to under-reporting black crime...
Or course it’s harder to under-report killings... Soon we’ll be living in cities have have no robberies, no rapes and massive numbers of deaths that aren’t quite murder...

When I was a boy growing up in Baltimore, the port was one of the largest in the country, if not the world. All of the steel mills are gone, esp. Bethlehem Steel, much of its large ship repair facilities, and God knows what else, gone.

I would agree....it’s a relief for the guy.
But here’s the odd thing. Contracts for guys like this....usually have a clause over departure pay. The city will have to pay him some type of dismissal check. I’d be guessing it’s in excess of $300,000.
