Some years ago, New Orleans deleted the name of George Washington school. They did that because Washington owned slaves. And they didn’t want to hurt the self esteem if the mostly black student body. They named the school after some.obscure African king.
No word on whether student achievement increased now that the students were no longer attending a school named for a slave owner.
Like I said, this PC garbage (not what I’m thinking) has to stop.
They’d love to replace all white “giants” of history with pipsqueek blacks whose biggest claim to fame is being on a school board?
