WASHINGTON (AP) Worried about "Republican on Republican violence," top party donors are taking action, with one firing off a letter calling for more civility and another seeking to block businessman Donald Trump from the debate stage altogether.
Foster Friess, a Wyoming-based investor and one of the party's top 20 donors in the last presidential contest, issued a letter to 16 White House prospects and the Republican National Committee late last week calling for candidates to stay on the "civility reservation."
"Our candidates will benefit if they all submit to Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment, 'Thou shall not speak ill of a fellow Republican,'" Friess wrote in a copy of the letter sent to Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus and obtained by The Associated Press.

You saw several facts I posted to you. Address them. Are they the actions of a man you wish to put your name behind? Yes or no.
Seems the donors are fighting as well....lol...too funny
Norm, if you and your Trumpet squad continue to try to derail trump in concert with the Democraps and Rino’s, it seems to me that it will certainly become counter productive and actually help Trump in the end..
I don’t really care while liberal chokes. Preferably all of them. But Trump’s history does not evaporate because a bunch of marginal at best ‘conservatives’ want to ‘feel’ good about ‘winning’ with a proven leftist.
If you think it will help Trump then by all means, get the facts, jump on board and spread the truth about him far and wide. Because the truth is what matters right?
RIGHT???
Are they the actions of a man you wish to put your name behind? Yes or no.
You can't be this stupid. I just told you repeatedly I support what Trump says, not you.
OK. You support the gay agenda, abortion, gun control and the rest of his liberalism. I asked twice and you said you support what he says two separate times.
So be it. At least I know you side with leftists henceforth by your twice stated admission to direct questions.
I know about trumps politics. It’s all public knowledge.
While I would never vote for him in the primary, much less the general, I admire him for taking on the immigration issue and taking the heat for it.
The problem is that it’s way early in the process and once Trump gets the proper questions on the other multitude of issues, the flash will dissipate.
My point was that the questions will never get asked as long as this attack on him continues and creates a victim out of Trump and he get’s the “me too” sympathy vote from a legion of silent majority types..
Political business as usual politics no longer works. Seems many people are waking to Trump's message. This is a good thing. Much better than what your convoluted split tongued career political traitors and their insiders have brought us in the past 30+ years.
I agree with him on what he SAYS about illegals. I do not trust for a second he believes it. Ever been to one of his properties?
When we end up with Trump as the candidate because people got starry eyed, again over words and not ACTIONS, then what? Because all this ass kissing is going to put him in that position and you get a socialist/communist or a mercinary with hard leftism in his history to pick from on D-Day.
Is the tradeoff worth it? Was Mitch and jonbon worth it?
Keep telling yourself whatever makes you FEEL good.
There is no reason for those comments...they are insulting and quite unnecessary.
The people here are only excited to see someone take on the Libs with no fear.
I like it too...but I would never in a million years vote for the man. I don’t actually expect him to survive, but he’s shaking up the soup bucket...
And I am enjoying it like a good sarcastic comedy.
Whats insulting? I asked twice to make sure and he said that was indeed the case. He said he agreed with what trump says when given several examplew of his hard leftism.
Same question twice, same answer twice.
In fact, he told me I was stupid for asking the second time. Thats pretty clear of a position.
Oh yeah...Trump believes what he says...he may change his mind a few times, but at the time he says something, he believes it.
Have you ever asked yourself why trump is running as a Republican?
He clearly is not..
He’s a populist independent..
He’s A’aaaaaanold Schwarzenegger in business attire..
He’s not running as a Indie because he does not want to damage the parties prospects and be viewed as the reason a Democrap was elected. (like perot)
He’s doing it because he can....he actually said so...
So I would not be too worried about him, unless of course he continues to get sympathy support into the primary vote..
“I know about trumps politics. Its all public knowledge.”
Yes it is. I’m not voting for a culture warrior in 2016.
Closing the border IMHO is my min issue.
Al the social issues are either at an impasse now or they’re already lost and trying to re-fight them is a waste of time and resources at the moment.
Nobody is paying any attention right not to Trumps politics on anything but immigration. Right now it’s a non-issue so you can holler from the mountain tops and people (even conservatives) will ignore you as they support what trump said...and identify with the passion of it and at the same time stick a finger in the eye of the MSM..
The time for that will be after this has blown over..
Keep telling yourself whatever makes you FEEL good.
That sounds like a quip all your allies above would say.
Maybe the corrupt professional political ruling class establishment will be successful ejecting Trump and silencing him. Then half the country can go back to sleep, while the other half will find they've just been betrayed again.
... besides, I expect him to drop out at the tail end of the primary run and throw his support to Cruz or someone else..
Hopefully Cruz..(my hope)
Thats exactly what worries me. Because I see Romney 12 coming like a freight train. People are going to get exactly what they claim they did not want. Again. And then make excuses. Again.
There has been lots of hand wringing, speculation and expectations of what Trump will do. All have been wrong so far.
