Thomas Sowell - what an intellect!
What humility!
What conviction in his beliefs, in his knowledge of truth!
We have “The Thomas Sowell Reader” in audio book and listen to it repeatedly while on long drives to see the kids and grandkids.
Did you know he was once a pistol marksmanship instructor while he was in the Marine Corps? (”The Thomas Sowell Reader”)
I believe he now lives near Gastonia, NC. If so, I’m trying to decide if it would be too intrusive to try to stop by and thank him in person for his writings.
He has resided in the Stanford/Palo Alto region of the SF Bay area, he may have recently moved to NC but I’m not aware of it.
He has written some on the high cost of living and housing in the Bay area and has also mentioned his time in the Marine Corps in some of his columns
