First they came for the Confederate Flag....
I have supported historic preservation, including Civil War battlefields and monuments, North and South, and it is dusting to see the likes of Nikki gleefully and quickly start to trash the flag. She could have called for election, etc.
I bet she didn't rave against the flag when she ran for office - didn't find it offensive then. So why now? Maybe this just provided her the opportunity to do what she had always wanted - stick it to U.S. history.
The flag had nothing to do with killings. It is harmful to promote this kind of displacing of blame, her version of the "Twinkie defense."
