Since the Supreme Courts decision in Obergefell v. Hodges that legalized marriage equality in America, some conservative Christians have been downright apoplectic. In a ridiculously offensive analogy, right wing anti-equality zealot Bryan Fischer tweeted:
Channeling a similar anger, though in a more commonly heard form, Fox News commentator Todd Starnes tweeted:
Meanwhile, Rod Dreher of the American Conservative has, in his own words, a more sober analysis of the decision on Times website:
[W]e have to accept that we really are living in a culturally post-Christian nation. The fundamental norms Christians have long been able to depend on no longer exist. To be frank, the court majority may impose on the rest of the nation a view widely shared by elites, but it is also a view shared by a majority of Americans. There will be no widespread popular resistance to Obergefell. This is the new normal.
To which the vast majority of Americans say, Hallelujah! Dreher is correctthe idea of equal treatment for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans (if not its full realization yet) is indeed the new normal in America. Even before the courts decision, 6 in 10 Americans supported the right of same-sex couples to marryand over half of Americans said they would be less likely to support any 2016 presidential candidate who opposed marriage equality.

A flaming liberal Jew talking about what Christians will do in post constitutional communist America?

I am ashamed of my country.
Hey Sally (author)....take it to the local mosque....you coward
The undesirables must be identified and removed. They stink and are a blot on our progressive society. But, lets do it legally. Then in the name of law, we can mark them, shut down their businesses, force them out of work, pack them up and ship them off to the camps so we dont have to see them, and where work will set them free.
They dont exist. What happens to them in the camps is irrelevant; as long as our progressive brave new world does not have to see them or acknowledge their existence or non-existence.
Sally Kohnhead is a left-wing dingbat.
“a more sober analysis”
This makes me sick. They think over time, we will accept this ruling, by writing garbage like this.
From the non-practicing secular lesbian Jewish ethnicity female we get lectures about why violating her former religion’s tenets is going to be wonderful?

Sally Kohn, go eff yourself.. better yet, go off yourself.
Lesbians may not contract AIDS from their usual sexual practices, but they do have high rates of dementia.
Nope. We won’t accept the mentally ill as the decision makers.

As an aside Romans’ 13 does not prevent the self-defense by Christians against them either: Notwithstanding there is credible doubts as the legitimacy of their elections they have become “terrors to the good” which removes them from Romans 13 protection as OUR leaders.

“We will adapt because we will never change”
Since adapt means change, I don’t understand what you are saying.
Barf alerts are implied on a Sally Kohn article.
Who cares what that teabag munching bull dyke thinks?
sorry typo. I meant we will not adapt.
RE — Yet some conservatives have tried to paint this cultural evolutionor even revolutionas fundamentally at odds with Christianity. Thats where theyre wrong.
Kohn is basically arguing two things. First, homosexuality is in fact compatible with the Bible. Two, most people will recognize that “truth” and accept the Supreme Court decision.
The first argument will never be correct, as much as she wishes it were otherwise. The second, given the generally decadent nature of society, particularly our clueless youth, is quite possible.
My son sat next to me this morning in church wearing his Army Class B uniform. He is able to shine his light.
