The projected turnout in Sunday's referendum was about 60%


Since most people probably did not understand the real Deals to be made, they just voted for: Do I want to be called/identified as Greek or European,
with the 2001 new currency Euro as a major identification of being European.
40 % did not vote and are not interested.
That means about 3 million (61%) voted No, that makes it 33 % of the Voting age population.
One could argue, Greece made great strides towards a European participation.after introduction of the Euro fairly recently in 2001.
