Good morning!
I was going to reply to you on that other shark thread, but we lost power yesterday for about 12 hours. Didn’t come back on until quarter to 1 am last night.
I’ve got to come up with an alternative to hooking up the generator. I keep it out in the barn, and after every use drain the gas out so it doesn’t go bad (after years of trial and error, I discovered bad gas or a fouled carburetor means no start when you need it). But it is a real PITA to have to transport back up to the house, set up, plug in all the wires, etc., etc., when you have no idea when the power will come back on. Alabama Power kept saying one hour, but that was a moving target! So I never used the generator, even though we were sitting in the dark heat and humidity all evening.
Anyway, on the shark story, I was only kidding! I knew you wouldn’t have been this dumb or crazy!
If you are as hot as we are bad time for power to go off.
............
Yeah on the shark thing I gotcha. No problem. Sharks are supposedly endangered since the longliners are wiping them out worldwide for the shark fin soup.
Problem is when they find a safe haven it works against us especially here.
We have sharks offshore and in the back eating all our game fish and scaring the daylights out of everyone.
We have bull sharks her big enough to eat 100lbs tarpon. Worst part is we can't kill them off any more like the old days.
Everything is "so" pc these days, really sucks.
A.B. Consider a generator powered by your natural gas. Always there.

Get a decent sized inverter and park your vehicle close to the house, let it idle and run an extension cord into the computer/beer cooler.
