Police and ambulances swarmed to the scene on Thursday after a report of gunshots at the Washington Navy Yard, where a gunman killed 12 people in a rampage two years ago.
There was no immediate confirmation of shots fired or a gunman, but workers on the campus were ordered to stay where they were, and workers who had not reported to work were told to stay home. "It was pretty much like the first time, a lot of people running for the exits," Navy Lt. Cmdr. Scott Williams said.
Law enforcement officers went building to building. Washington police, the FBI and federal marshals all rushed to the Navy Yard after the reports came in before 8 a.m. ET. Washington police told standby units not to respond. Source: NBC News https://youtu.be/hD2uJm46Ejg
False alarm.
Boo!
Practice, practice, practice
OR
DRY RUN by 911 caller to see who responds and how they respond.
I suspect it was just practice.
You want to be on FR, you need to be fast!
Oval Office:
BIDEN: “Mr. President, have noticed how excited the American population are to celebrate the Fourth of July, waving the flag and all that crap”?
0: “ You’re right, and I think I got a great idea to stop it with just a anonymous phone call” /s
On Thursday? It is Wednesday today.
My mistake.
Thank goodness, I thought I'd missed a day somewhere and that Saturday was a day farther away than it already is.
I hate that when the Feds call 911 on themselves. Need to keep that fear thing going strong. Remember what barkie always says “My the FEAR be with you”
I forgot about the Navy yard shooting.
Aaron Alexis murdered 12 people.
