No it is not. It is not a left vs right issue because you can find plenty of left wing viewpoints declining to criticize Bristol Palin and you can find plenty of rightwing viewpoints that are criticizing Bristol Palin.
So it is not an issue of Palin's pregnancy, it is an issue revolving around "moral superiority".
When you take the superior position or higher ground, you have a lot further to fall, if and when you fall.
Where-as Palin is the focal point because she is the one that fell, the finger is being pointed at all who consider themselves to be "morally superior".
Hypocrites talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
LOL! How'd that "moral superiority" thingee work out at the Supreme Court same-sex marriage decision last week?
The only thing the other side understands is getting their teeth kicked out.
They play for keeps, not by your Marquis of Queensbury rules. Suprising that a '98er didn't learn that back in the day.
I like what the Palins are doing just fine. From a Christian aspect, Bristol Palin has fallen down, but Christ will help her back up. AND at the end of that day (or nine months) we'll have one more player on our team to taunt the Lefties with.
And also the right-wing milquetoasts...
