Belize has 350,000 citizens, and is the only official English speaking country in Central America.
Ocean front lots are available from $60K up.
Infrastructure was good. Low crime rate, except for some bad parts of Belize City. Excellent friendly people.
Great climate. Ridiculously low taxes. Residency after only one year stay. Diver paradise.
San Pedro was a fine island to stay there.
Two Belize dollars for one US dollar - reasonable cost of living.
The problem with Belize and yes it is a beautiful country but they don’t have electricity everyday or if they do it might be a few hours a day and it is cost prohibitive for most everyone and they have other problems that the salespeople don’t mention.
