I learned to go 8 hours without using the bathroom when I was in high school. It drives my family crazy on long car trips.
You, too?! I learned as a young child to hold it for 12 to 15 hours. My mother would drive all the way to my grandmother’s house without a restroom break. We would stop for McDonalds drive thru food. I made sure not to drink a lot. Oh. We would stop at Stuckeys as well. I think that is where my mother would sneak in a potty break for herself. I am not as good at it as I used to be. (I am pretty sure my mother was afraid to use a public restroom that might have been used by an African American even though we had a black maid. It is like The Help was based on psycho white women in Jackson, MS like my very own mother. Haha)
