I don’t know if they will try that but there is another way that they can invade our churches and take our right to worship as we please away from us. In Sweden, a pastor was jailed for five months for preaching the Bible. Reading parts of the Bible that admonish against homosexual behavior was deemed by a judge to be “hate speech”. We have a federal hate speech law in place that the Democrats passed during their two year reign of terror between 2009 and 2010. They had all the votes and they passed it. So they can use that as a vehicle to censure the church even within the church building, not to mention radio, television and print media.
The left prepares well ahead of time, always waiting for the right opportunity. If the time isn’t right, they back off but when they see that they have the advantage—they strike. And of course, they always have plenty of liberal judges on hand that they can use to agree with them. It is really very simple, they look at the docket and pick a judge they trust. Since they are always the ones to take the case to court, the plaintiffs, they get to pick the time, the place, the judge and the courtroom. This is one of the reasons why it is very important to vote for conservatives because they will appoint the judges.
We have to be long range thinkers and be ready for them when they attack. We also need to have a national organization, I think Jay Sekulow should take the leadership because he is really sharp and tough minded. Many Christian leaders are too soft and not really that bright. They do not realize that they are dealing with sharks or if they realize it, they just don’t know how to deal with the sharks, Jay Sekulow does.
Wasn’t it last year some female mayor in Texas was demanding a transcripts of sermons from local Preachers? I’m afraid there is more of that to come.
