Cruz is the closest thing to Reagan that we’ve seen. And he is smarter than Reagan.
How exactly do you square that with your desire to ‘move on’ about homo marriage. Cruz is steadfastly committed to fighting it. So how is he smart, in your view?

Yes, Cruz is smart but it is more of a different kind of smart. I think Reagan’s political philosophy was more mature than Cruz’ but I’ll take him.
