Ever been to Karbala, Iraq? The smell is pungent. Following a visit the clothes are put outside and a shower and nasal purge are required -seriously. I would describe it as a close-up whiff of burning rotten garbage, raw sewage, burning crude oil and cow anus. Yeah, that’s it.
Haven’t been to Iraq, but I have been to a place that smells like your vivid description heh.
I try to avoid those places now.
