Good question. Turkey should never have been included in NATO. I whole heartedly agree with that. I was there, and I thought it was the absolute arm pit of the world.

NATO is pretty much a dead issue now, but if you look at a map from the days of the Cold War it is obvious why Turkey was brought into NATO.
