I was speaking to a friend of mine yesterday about the rulings on Obamacare and homosexual marriage. He is very conservative. I asked him what he is going to do about dealing with these rulings. As we were on the phone, he asked me, "Ever hear of the NSA?" I said yes. He said he could not answer. He later admitted that he has seceded from the union. I said what are you talking about? He said he seceded. I said, you pay taxes...you have to pay taxes. He said, "No, I do not." He said I pay 'Protection Money" to the Crime Syndicate in Washington. That way they will not come to his house and shoot him, his wife, and his dog. They may call it taxes.....he calles is Protection Money.
This friend of mine is not a dummy. He is extremely well educated, Board Certified in an area of Law, and minds his own business.
He recommends we all send our tax money to Austin, Texas and have them hold its until we are represented by our elected representatives. If we are not, after a year, the money should be returned.
I don't know....that all sounds a little out of step,but normalcy bias has infected us all. With Roberts rulings the next Roberts impulse or divination may be worse than his previous dictums.
