I suppose that since Roe V Wade, the fact that children don't matter should have been self-evident. I know some on the left say “why do conservatives care about children before they are born but not after?” First off, this reveals a truly warped view of society - either pay to raise my kids or let me kill them. Second, I turn the question around: how can the left say it ever cares for children when it does not even consider them human beings when inside the womb, and does not even believe they have a right to be born?
Children seem to matter when it's a way to get funding, or votes, or power. I don't think the left’s idea of nirvana would be a good place for children at all.
