I attended a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) church service yesterday. The WELS and ELS churches have remained amazingly traditional, old-fashioned, and Bible-based Lutheran despite the temptations of modern society. The Pastor presiding over the service did not mince words regarding the USSC ruling. He tackled the issue head-on. In summary, he presented that this is just another example of man foolishly believing man's wisdom is superior to God's.

Take heart fellow Christians. We know that society will be circling the toilet drain once again as it was in the time of Sodom before the Lord returns to remove us from it. We will be persecuted before that day. So stay strong, have courage, and keep in touch (every Sunday!) with like-minded God-fearing brothers and sisters. You are not alone.

Thanks for your encouragement! As an ultra-conservative LCMS congregant, we sometimes forget that we are all in the same boat when it comes to these attacks on the Church.
