This SCOTUS decision will not play well in Black or Hispanic communities.
It can ironically be the grace of God that He lets a wild hair to sin play itself out. Because sometimes a people can only learn by making mistakes personally.
Obama came out in favor of gay marriage in 2012, and Romney still only got 17% of the black vote. Gay marriage may not play well in Black or Hispanic communities, but no chance it is going to get them to vote for Republicans.
I wish that were still the case but Obama has bought off too many blacks by attacking police and calling this nation racist, and similarly with Hispanics amnesty and handouts. ,

That won’t matter one bit. For one thing, blacks and Hispanics are moving left on this issues just like whites. For another, even if they don’t like it, history has proven that it won’t dampen their support for democrats. They are solidly leftist constituencies. That’s not going to change.
I see the Rats losing 15% of the Hispanic vote and 20% of the black vote. More if they go for equal rights laws or press for religious acceptance. For Clinton her old white lady parts will not be enough to get these voters back.
If the GOP makes this election about gay marriage, the democrats will when in a landslide and probably take back the senate.
The nation has truly big issues to worry about i.e. national defense, Iran and nukes, China gobbling up japanese and korean possessions, Russia trying to restart the cold war and general economic policy.
