If the beast is as popular as the state run media tells us, why are they giving the tickets away?

With the Left trying to railroad everything they’ve ever thought of through before Obama’s turn ends, Hillary’s going to have a tough time filling seats. Even with Democrats.

This was held at the Patriot Center, George Mason University....over in Fairfax (deep in the heart of liberal Virginia). It should be noted that the Patriot Center Arena holds roughly 10,000 seats.

Whoever picked this venue for her appearance didn’t really think over the implication of empty seats being noticed. It’s not a problem if you seat 9,000 people in the place (folks don’t usually notice empty seats then). But if you can’t even fill 5,000 seats....it’ll be obvious to those who attend that there is a problem.

My humble guess is that they woke up three days ago and knew they were barely at the 5,000 ticket point. With no way to cancel....they went to issuing as many free tickets as possible.

I should add...Virginia over the past decade has gone to being one of the five ‘big’ swing states where a little momentum could carry a candidate to a win. Rural Virginia is roughly 75-percent Republican. Urban Fairfax/Arlington is roughly 75-percent Democrat.

Free tickets?? At this point, anyone who paid $30,000 to be in her presence must feel like a complete schnook! ;)

She buses in her own "astroturf" so this article makes me extremely skeptical. Hecklers make her lose her temper and fold like a wet noodle. "Unscripted" questions could too.

Sounds like a computer virus (or worse).

However, on Friday afternoon, some Virginia Democrats received an email advertising "FREE TICKETS" to the dinner. The email was given to Business Insider by a source. It contained a promotional code to get $30 tickets to the event for free.

Maybe bus in some convicts and homeless? Get gang supporters to show up?

See Hillary really cares about the little people, she is giving everyone a chance to come and worship at her feat at exactly no cost to them. Poor people love her because she cares about them.

Lord help me if I really need this. </sarcasm>

Virginia Democrats are giving away tickets to Hillary Clinton's speech tonight

Giving? Not news.

How much are they paying?

FREE wouldn’t be good enough for me. They’d have to pay me to attend. A lot!

“If the beast is as popular as the state run media tells us, why are they giving the tickets away? “......

Good question. Looks like the question, “At this point what difference does it make” finally has meaning.

They need to offer money or maybe gift certificates. “Free” isn’t going to cut it.

We sold out the Maryland Red, White and Blue Dinner with Donald Trump speaking last week. Not sure how big a room Virginia Dems are trying to fill.

Jefferson-Jackson day dinner

What's up with that?

Andrew Jackson was born in March and Thomas Jefferson in April.

Their day should have been months ago.

FWIW, from Wikipedia ...

Many state Democratic Parties have used the day to highlight local party leaders. For example:

the Democratic Party of Mississippi also honors civil rights leader Fannie Lou Hamer, with a Jefferson–Jackson–Hamer celebration,

the Democratic State Central Committee of Connecticut holds "Jefferson–Jackson–Bailey Day" in honor of state Democratic boss and Democratic National Committee Chairman John Moran Bailey.

Florida Democratic Party renamed their key dinner event "Leadership Blue"

Wisconsin Democrats and Minnesota DFL have renamed their dinners the "Founders' Day Gala"

Future Democrats may know this fundraiser as Clinton-Obama Day (or Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama-Clinton Day).

For now, I guess everyday is a Clinton Day fundraiser.
