Pointing out the unnatural nature of the practice, that it is condemned in scripture, and that it is the vector for everything from psychological problems to AIDS isn't "bashing" unless you would defend without reservation a behaviour pattern which is notorious for self-destruction.

Considering the potential for lethal blood-borne pathogen transfer in a good fistfight, I would never knowingly use my fists against a homosexual unless it was a situation where I had no option but to defend my own life. Regardless of reason, most Conservatives would not resort to physical violence against others were it not absolutely necessary.

Putting all that together, it means we live in a time where more bullshit can be spewed by more people (or made to appear to have been spewed) at a faster rate with wider dissemination than ever before. Quantity should never be confused with quality, and while "information" is more available than ever, most of the signal is noise.

The unscrupulous, however, can spread more nonsense faster than it can be refuted..
