The proper response to which is to barrage National Cathedral with questions about whether they will dig up and remove Woodrow Wilson from his crypt there too. Given his overt racism that included segregating the Federal bureaucracy (it was integrated after the Civil War) and being a big enthusiastic and vocal fan of "Birth of a Nation".

Like Alinsky says: make the other side follow their own rules.
