I pointed out that there was nothing in the court ruling that said I must be gay to enter a same sex marriage. There was nothing that says I or my “husband” couldn’t have live in girlfriends. There wasn’t even anything that says my “husband” and I would need to live in the same house.

Most gays have very dysfunctional relationships; (at least the ones I have known and worked with). And I would bet most do not want to get married. There will be a spike in marriages for gays, especially in those States that did not allow it.

Complete BS, this is the Media pushing the gay agenda, again, trying to convince people there is a large population of gays that have been waiting to get married...

We need some real reporting in a month or two on how many gays actually got married? And then check back 6 months later and see how many got divorced.

Gays represent 3% to 5% of the population

I saw an article recently that said that the percentage of "gay" men in the U.S. was around 2.7%; "gay" women 1.7%.

The numbers of "gay" people in the U.S. has always been manipulated by the advocates.

So, basically, we are redefining a bedrock institution of human society for 2-3% of the population.

f I get married again I’ll get a conservative minister to perform the service but forego the license and have an attorney draw up a prenuptial agreement.

Be sure to ask your attorney if you will be considered married, under the law. Without the license, you may not be able to make that claim.

It may not be important to you, but depending on the precedents that are set, you may not be able to file a joint tax return, receive widow/widower benefits from Social Security, etc.

There are a number of benefits to being married that cannot be granted by contract.

My wife and I have had to produce a copy of our marriage license recently to prove we are married, in order to be on the same family medical insurance policy.
