The whole thing is contingent on a financial collapse, and such a thing is d@mned hard to predict with any accuracy because so many people are working so hard to keep confidence in the confidence game, going. There are millions of busy little hands trying to prop up this whole mess. When the public finally loses confidence in the currency, then the whole house of cards will collapse.
At what point will the rubes wake up and realize their stored value is stolen? I don't know, but when they finally do, do you doubt it is going to turn ugly?
What is your financial savvy? How much of our economic activity is the result of pump priming with borrowed federal dollars and how much of it is real?
Do you see the US finances remaining stable? If so, I want whatever you are smoking.
I think that people have been predicting an imminent collapse of one sort or another for a hundred years or more. Most of them are trying to sell me something.
