I agree. A small minority of people are passionately against gay marriage, but the vast majority of people in this country are either:

a) In favor of it
b) Indifferent
c) Against it, but not enough to actually do anything about it.

There won't be a civil war over this. There won't even be civil strife. Neither happened after Roe v. Wade...why would this be any different?
