You know as a little girl I always look forward eating pancakes in the morning. When I see her image on the syrup or pancakes I always thought of her as a caring aunt at my breakfast table. I never saw anything racist of it.
At one time, Aunt Jemina looked like Hattie McDaniel from “Gone With the Wind.”
Years later, she looked like one of the Supremes in their heyday.
