While he did show very strong mean liberal streaks, there were times when he seemed to be easing off and leaning (very slightly) to the right. IMHO.

Bob had a memory older than “social media” and it made it hard for him to even speak. The gossipy, really young, lacking in personal experience, elite . . . whatever it is that passes for political talk . . . grrr!

Oh, remember the days with Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden when CNN first started. They had hard core discussion of issues, not of childish things.

The original show was great and Tom Braden was an old style Roosevelt Liberal. The funny thing is the longer the show was on the air Tom seemed to change his views and become more Conservative.

Bob was the spice that made The Five watchable. The replacement hosts are, by and large, boring and my ‘attendance’ has dropped 50% of late. When Bob misbehaved - things perked up.

Say what you will, but apart from an occasional outburst Beckel would generally stay in his lane, time wise.

Hoowan Williams thinks since he’s the “liberal” on the show he needs to get 50% of the facetime vs. 50% for the other 4.
