WASHINGTON (AP) His health care legacy secure, President Barack Obama cast Thursday's Supreme Court ruling upholding Obamacare as a historic and emphatic declaration that the law has now been "woven into the fabric of America."
"This is reality," Obama said in a celebratory statement in the Rose Garden. "We can see how it is working."

The law is a disaster. It won’t survive. I go to the VA so it doesn’t affect me one way or the other. But the people getting the subsidies are still going to have high deductions and some providers will turn them away. I’d venture to say MOST who have been paying premiums have yet to try to use it.
The other people it will hurt, and is hurting, are the workers of this country who actually have to pay for it.
The ones it won’t hurt are the congress and I guess all of their descendants until the end of time.
baraq and his fellow travelers have gotten another entitlement installed. This will be another wealth transfer vehicle, but more importantly, it will be used as a weapon against anyone who doesn’t get in line.
The next wealth transfer up on the agenda is “means testing” for social security benefits. Which means that if you were smart and have your own savings, you aren’t getting back any of the social security “contributions” stolen from you years ago. Those go to the slackers who didn’t save or didn’t work.
This has actually been floated by some republicans, and at first I was surprised. But not now. Not any more.
And when that isn’t enough, the government will directly nationalize all private retirement accounts. And the SCOTUS will say it’s not a “taking” under the 5th Amendment, either. Because today just affirmed what has already been known for some time. The government can do whatever it wants, and it recognizes no restraint on its power over the people.
So, now that EVERYONE is required to have insurance, hospitals can now turn away everyone whom is NOT insured, right?
“I go to the VA so it doesnt affect me one way or the other.”
Yes, you are in a socialistic, single payer system. Surprisingly to me, I have a couple of friends covered by VA and they seem to like it. What do you think?
I don’t have any complaints. I did have a blood clot in my heart for four years and nobody told me about it. But I lived through it and am now being treated.
But I will not go as far as to say it’s as good as “civilian” healthcare. It’s hard to find a Caucasian doctor. But, that’s the case everywhere these days.
