You may want to tell that to the property owners who had their entire crops and homes burned and destroyed so they couldn’t make a living AFTER the war. I certainly don’t condone slavery in the least......but it was a ‘scorched earth policy’ by the feds.
So what? War is bad. Do not start a War. If you lose- because you are deeply wrong- quit your bs and get right. Or not. Seems like some folks, are lookin’ at the wake and not the ship.
