Yes, and in Kentucky the “Emancipation Proclamation” did not free any slaves. It took the ratification of the 13th Amendment.

That said I spent a fun weekend at the St Regis two weeks ago and wifey plied Phipps for treasure thus emptying my bank account

It’s very very ghetto compared to my youth but I still like it

And speaking of Buckhead

You hear more southern accents at Houstons at paces ferry than you do here in Nashville
