I don’t fly the Confederate flag because I’m a Northerner and I don’t think people should fly a flag of a war’s loser

Slavery would have gone away. Instead, we got a homogeneous blob of states that when the master government sends a directive, everyone has to follow it. People can only with moderate success, vote with their feet. (Businesses leaving California, Michigan, etc)
