At least with books (unlike mere symbols), you can learn the madness behind the writer. See what makes them tick.

My sister “got in trouble” for reading Mein Kampf in her high school back in the day. She was questioned why she had it. My mother has all this stuff from history - and likes us to know about it in full.

Would they ever question us for having “Communist Manifesto” and “Das Kapital”, which we also have? Not on your life!
