I had my order cancelled by Amazon for a Bonny Blue flag. No explanation given.
I guess the folks at Amazon don;t know their history either:
from: http://washingtonartillery.com/Def.htm
“The Bonnie Blue Flag (also known as the “Lone Star Flag”) is often linked to the Confederacy. However, the flag had its origins long before any southern state seceded from the Union. The first recorded use of this flag was in 1810 when it was used to represent the Republic of West Florida, a republic of English speaking inhabitants of southern Alabama, Mississippi, and portions of Louisiana east of the Mississippi River who rebelled against the reign of Spanish government and overthrew Spains provincial Governor de Lassus at Baton Rouge. The republic lasted barely three months, dissolved after the annexation of Louisianas portion of the disputed land to the United States territory.”
By the way, this company sells the Bonnie Blue flag and many other historical flags.

I’ve done business with them for years, and I’ve always been very satisfied with their products. They sell real, high quality, flags, and to date everything I have purchased form them has been Made in the USA.
The first recorded use of the lone star flag dates to 1810.
On September 11, 1810 a troop of West Florida dragoons set out for the Spanish provincial capitol at Baton Rouge under this flag.
After a short battle they captured Baton Rouge, imprisoned the Spanish Governor and on September 23, 1810 raised their Bonnie Blue flag over the Fort of Baton Rouge.
Three days later the president of the West Florida Convention, signed a Declaration of Independence and the flag became the emblem of a new republic.
By December 10, the flag of the United States replaced the Bonnie Blue after President Madison issued a proclamation declaring West Florida under the jurisdiction of the Governor of the Louisiana Territory.
The West Florida Republic existed for 74 days.
With this rebellion in mind, this flag was used by the Republic of Texas from 1836 to 1839.
