I probably didn't make my meaning clear in my usage of the term "Northeasterners". I'm just wanting to convey the fact that these people controlling the airwaves have the dominant opinions of the New York and Boston Urban mindset, and not that of most of the rest of the nation.
Our cultural "elite" tell them what to think.
No offense intended towards Northeasterners in general, it's just that the Nation's power class resides mostly there. (And to a lesser extent in San Fransisco.)
No, I’m certainly not offended. The northeastern seaboard is completely responsible for this crazy stuff - just that a few southerners (that idiot Bob Schieffer!) are in the mix.
