Amazing -- I observe the evident truth that there are FReepers here who clearly believe that Americans don't have the right of free association with people these FReepers disapprove of, and I observe that such FReepers' attitude is very Stalinesque -- and watch them come out of the woodwork self-righteously pounding their chests about what patriots they are!

The absolute truth: Americans have the right to free assembly with criminals, half-criminals, shady people, above-board people, white people, black people, bikers, sinners, saints, creeps, losers, winners, tattooed scary dudes, felons, rebels, choirboys and working joes and janes -- they all have a RIGHT to assemble together even if I or anyone else disapproves of the people they're assembling with.
