Cruz stated from the get go not enough was known and he would with hold opinion...pressed then he spoke according to the information he had obtained and read....TPA is not as bad as people are making it...what is bad are the deals being shaped to pass it...and thus Cruz spoke and declined to support it. That does not mean he wasn’t for TPA ....TPA has surpassed and become far more than it’s intial intentions and purpose..
If any need to apologize it’s all those who continually jump the gun BEFORE the facts are presented and we know what the heck is going on ..not only with legislation etc...but behind the scenes and within the halls of happenings.

There was no jumping to conclusions. We were all commenting on actual votes to give Obama more power and take it away from Congress.
Comparing it to previous TPAs was also a BOGUS argument. When Bush asked for it in 2003 he first published the WHOLE agreement before asking for TPA.
This bunch is evidently fine with giving Obama free reign. I’m sure it will work out well since he has our best interests at heart.
Any of you care to bet me that as soon as Obama gets this power we have a completed agreement in our face in a couple months and TPP is law and shoved down our throats before the end of the year?
This was all a charade. And saying TPP was still largely unwritten was just another ploy used to try to justify betraying us and hide the terrible facts behind this trade agreement.
I am grateful that Cruz realized he was wrong with his first vote. That is progress and we all certainly make mistakes.
The main fact I railed against is still true. Obama, McConnell, Boehner, Ryan, Rubio, and many others are acting against us.
I think any and every politician that voted for TPA under these circumstances should be primaried and replaced. Boehner should have NEVER be re-elected as Speaker. I wish they would remove him in the most uncomfortable way and he cried for weeks.

Obama has been working on this TPP obamatrade agreement for at least 5 years in Secret.
Congress just voted to give Obama fast track trade promotion authority to pass this horrendous trojan horse secret agreement. That means that Congress cannot even debate about this nor add amendments and only 51% of the vote is needed to pass it instead of the usual 60% needed (cloture) .
This TPP is something that the left and Obama have been crafting for 5 years and now gets no debate and cannot even seen by the American people only after they shove it down our throat.
They voted to let Obama act like a dictator to pass this country destroying TPP. So Obama gets to pass his own law in which the left have crafted MANY ways to get around U.S. immigration law.
