Cruz already voted for TPA and TAA, which was in the first bill. So what has changed? Answer: The heat Cruz took for his first vote. Too little too late, The Senate will pass it. Obama wins again.
The Senate version of TPA failed in the House. The House then passed it’s own version, which is now back in the Senate for a vote.
It needs to be filibustered. At least until the simple majority vote rule for final passage of trade agreements. is stripped out.
TPA would have passed the Senate the first time without Cruz’s vote. It passed by a wide margin. Cruz’s concerns now are about a back room deal to link this to the Ex-IM Bank deal, which he is against.
He also does not want TPA without the Cruz/Sessions immigration language and I don’t either. Now that some of the other trade deals have come to light that were being negotiated in secret, Cruz does not like their immigration language.

Odd that his own supporters had no idea how Cruz was going to vote.
How is it possible the people are the last to know?
And, if the 2nd round, which he voted against, was ‘cause he finally found out what was in it....Why did he vote for something he (supposedly) had ‘no idea’ of the details (IE: voting w/out reading)?
Either way, something stinks in Denmark....except to the Cruz bots I suspect.
BOOM, ding ding ding we have a winner.

Nailed it.
