TG: No. Some were released on as little as $10k bonds.
Everyone note well the tactic displayed here. The FACT of the matter is that 177 were placed under a $1,000,000 bond beginning on May 17. Every. Single. One.
Only after hearings before a judge, after days and weeks in jail, were bond amounts adjusted.
The important piece of this is the initial action and the gross abuse of the concept of a security bond. When one scratches the surface just a little, one can learn that the excessive bond (see Amendment Eight) was set by a Justice of the Peace, a former LEO with no legal training. (It has not been established that he has received the remedial legal training that his office requires.)
The apologists for the wreckers of citizen's rights HAVE to try to gloss over things like this. But, their weak sauce is apparent to those who have looked closely at what has happened.
“Only after hearings before a judge, after days and weeks in jail, were bond amounts adjusted.”
Then why did you imply they still had $1,000,000 bonds?
