I have told this story on FR before but it was so meaningful for me so I will tell it again. I was waiting in a long slow line and the woman standing next to me was talking on her cell phone. Everyone could hear her lament her decision to be a lesbian.
She talked at length about how she came to that place and how it had not brought her any happiness. I felt very bad for her.
She may have ended it all by now.

Whenever there’s a person on their cell phone talking loudly in public, I say, just as loudly, ‘NOW WE ALL KNOW - jeeeeshhh - ‘
I don’t think anyone ever got it - - maybe I need a new line - - -
Maybe I need to add an obvious glare sent their way.
One thing is certain - Public Phone Talkers (just made that up - ) have NO idea they are annoying - - -
